Kansai International Airport Arrival

(International Flights First Floor, Domestic Flights Second Floor)
There is an information board in the area after the exit.
Go to Kyoto Station by train or bus.
The fares go in the order of buses, trains, and shuttle taxis with the buses being the cheapest.
We recommend buses since it also runs frequently.
(Regular taxis will be quite expensive.)

For trains, go up to the second floor and head outside.
For buses, there is a bus stop outside the first floor.

If you have questions, please ask at the information center on the first floor. You can also buy train and bus tickets.
They also have one-day passes and other value deal tickets.

There also are shuttle taxis. (Reservations are required at least two days before the date of use.)
It drives directly from the airport to Suzaku Crossing.

For Trains

Follow the signs to go outside from the second floor and head for the station.

JBuy tickets at the JR ticket office or ticket vending machines.
Nijo Station is the nearest station to Suzaku Crossing.
Limited Express Haruka runs from Kansai International Airport to Kyoto Station. No need to change trains.
Change to Sagano Line (Platform 31 - 33) at Kyoto Station.

Enter from the JR Line gates.

For Buses

Buses bound for Kyoto leaves from Bus Stop #8.
There are ticket vending machines near the bus stop.
Buy a ticket bound for Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit.
Please note that credit cards will not be accepted.
(The limousine counter inside the airport will accept credit cards.)

Buses bound for Osaka Airport (Itami) also leaves from Bus Stop #8.
Please make sure to ask the staff where you need to line up.

Kyoto Station to Suzaku Crossing

When Sightseeing is prospering in Kyoto, the public traffic is crowded very much. Please consider the use of the taxi from Kyoto Station or Nijo Station.

Arriving at Kyoto Station

Along Transfer to JR Lines direction, then enter the 31- 33Home to the Sagano direction.
*The eastern transfer exit is a detour.

Since the 31st to 33rd homes are at the very end of Kyoto station, the distance is far away.

The train will come to the 32nd or the 33rd home
*31 is bound for Kansai Airport.
All trains on the Sagano line will stop at Nijoon station.

Arriving at Nijo Station

Get off at Nijo Station, from the east exit to the bus stop (B stop).
There is a bus stop at the west exit, but not to Suzakan.

Take the Nijo station → Senbon Demizu buses

Except 18, 69 (go to Nijo West Exit), all the remaining buses will pass through Senbon Demizu.

Arriving at Senbon Demizu

Please get off at the Senbon Demizu, the closest bus stop to Suzakukan.
Then go in the same direction as the car.
Turn left at the first corner.

Arriving at Suzakukan

Suzakukan is just around the corner.
After checking in, you can travel by Suzakukan's travel cards or rental bicycles.

Suzaku Crossing is a 5-minutes walk from Senbon Demizu.
Suzaku Crossing is a 20-minutes walk from JR Nijo Station or Nijo Station on the Kyoto City Subway Tozai Line.
(All No.B buses go to Senbon Demizu except 15, 58, 69, Rapid. We recommend using a bus.)

*If you take a bus from JR Kyoto Station, please take 206 lines at bus stop 'A3'.
Please do not take 206 lines at bus stop 'D2'.

Time required from the JR Kyoto Station to the Hotel: Approx. 18 minutes.
